Traverse City, MI 1/7/10 – The Caution Clip has just launched a new website www.cautionclip.com featuring their innovative solution to help drivers meet the safety requirements for loads extending out of their vehicles.
Many times drivers do not safely mark loads extending out the rear of their vehicle. This is frequently observed as extended loads marked with a makeshift flag made out of a rag and duct tape or no flag at all. This poses a hazard to other drivers and in most cases is illegal. The Caution Clip uses a heavy duty spring clamp that will grab tightly onto most shapes and surfaces, whether it is lumber, a ladder, sheet metal or tubing. The flag portion is constructed of a strong synthetic mesh that is made to withstand high winds and exposure to the elements. It has been tested at speeds in excess of 80 mph without any slippage. The Caution Clip is also well suited for hauling extending loads at night because of its attached LED caution light.
