CLEVER DISHWARE & UTENSILS BY DREAM BABY® KEEPS
EVERYTHING IN PLACE
New Stay-Put Cutlery + Bowl help children learn to feed themselves!
Jamestown, N.C. – Mealtime can be a nightmare for parents when toddlers finally attempt feeding themselves without help from mom and dad. Most of the food (and sometimes even the plate) ends up on the floor or on the wall rather than in their hungry little bellies!
Dream Baby®’s new Stay-Put Cutlery + Bowl dishware set not only prevents children from dropping or tossing their utensils but also helps the child master self-feeding. By limiting the area from the bowl to the mouth, the utensils make it easier for children to control the movement. The memory coils gently tug the child’s hand back to the bowl, helping him recognize the steps. This repetitive action naturally mimics the inherent reflexes of children and helps give them the additional control necessary to achieve independent feeding.
“The mouth is the first sense of touch, and children are capable of putting a spoon into their mouth from an early age,” explains Carolyn Ziegler of Dream Baby®. “But they can have difficulty controlling the reflexes necessary to repeat the process and this product helps them improve.”
This easy maneuverability also helps assist children in developing their eating skills by improving hand-eye coordination. The Stay-Put Cutlery can help stimulate and improve coordination, which can also help increase stimulation in other areas of development. The dishware set is easy to use; parents simply moisten the suction pads and secure the utensils to a dry highchair or table. With curved soft-grip contoured handles, the fork and spoon are designed to fit perfectly into little fingers, making the utensils comfortable to use.
“Mealtime becomes less frustrating for children as they learn to determine the speed that they want to be fed and how much they want to eat,” explains Ziegler. “Fussy eating habits are less likely to happen, and parents can learn children’s true taste for different foods by watching their preferences. However, it’s recommended that children always be monitored by adults during feedings, despite these skills being mastered.”
The suctions on the cutlery and bowl ensure that everything stays in place on any smooth surface including plastic, melamine, glass or metal, making the Stay-Put Cutlery + Bowl perfect for every home!

The Dreambaby Stay-Put Cutlery is perfect for those children that are eager to start feeding themselves. The bowl has a suction cup on the bottom that will suction to their high-chair so that the bowl doesn't get tipped over or accidentally knocked on the floor. It comes with a spoon and fork that have coils on them with a suction cup on the end. The suction cup will help keep the utensils in their feeding area instead of on the floor. The coils on the cutlery will help teach the child coordination by bringing their utensil from their mouth back down to their bowl. The bowl and cutlery comes in Pink, Blue, and Yellow.
